Materials
Four filaments, one calibrated process.
Every material below is stocked, profiled on our machines, and priced by deposited volume. Pick based on where the part will live — heat, load, outdoor, flex — and we'll handle the rest.
| Material | Typical use | Max temp | Tolerance | Rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| PLA | Prototypes, display, fixtures | 55 °C | ±0.15 mm | €0.10 / cm³ |
| PETG | Enclosures, brackets, outdoor parts | 75 °C | ±0.20 mm | €0.15 / cm³ |
| ABS | Automotive, near-heat, machinable | 100 °C | ±0.25 mm | €0.38 / cm³ |
| TPU | Gaskets, grips, flexible mounts | 80 °C | ±0.30 mm | €0.60 / cm³ |
Rates cover deposited volume. €10.00 setup fee and shipping calculated at checkout.
PLA
€0.10 / cm³Highest detail and best surface finish. Rigid but brittle. Not suitable for parts left in a hot car or near heat sources.
- Max temp
- 55 °C
- Tolerance
- ±0.15 mm
- Use
- Prototypes, display, fixtures
PETG
€0.15 / cm³Tough, chemical resistant, UV stable. Our default recommendation for functional parts that need to survive being dropped.
- Max temp
- 75 °C
- Tolerance
- ±0.20 mm
- Use
- Enclosures, brackets, outdoor parts
ABS
€0.38 / cm³High heat resistance and machines well (drill, tap, sand). Slightly softer detail than PLA. Ideal for engine-bay adjacent parts.
- Max temp
- 100 °C
- Tolerance
- ±0.25 mm
- Use
- Automotive, near-heat, machinable
TPU
€0.60 / cm³Rubber-like flex (95A shore). Excellent abrasion resistance. Best for parts that need to bend, seal, or absorb impact.
- Max temp
- 80 °C
- Tolerance
- ±0.30 mm
- Use
- Gaskets, grips, flexible mounts
